Many people often ask, “What is the key to success?” How does one become successful? It is a good question. People seek success in so many ways. Some labor hard and long. Others try to take shortcuts. Sometimes it seems that success is the luck of the draw. Personally, in my experience, success is intentional. There are laws that usher you into acheiving success. If applied consistently you will garner the results you desire.

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but you shall meditate therein day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then you shall make thy way prosperous, and then you shall have success”- Joshua 1:8

The laws of success are universal. They apply to all people. These laws are never confined by man’s rules. We know, for example, that if you jump off a 10-story building, there will be consequences—the law of gravity, a natural law will apply. The same is true in the laws of success.

Success is an integration of intelligence, motivation, imagination, will, confidence, creativity, courage, and repetition. Do not allow yourself to measure your success according to someone else’s success. The measure of your success is you, doing your very best consistently. Play like a loop in your mind that success is personal and take achieving success personally. Always remember the treasure is already within you, you just have to do the work to excavate it.

Laws such as “you reap what you sow,” “do unto others as you would have them do onto you,” “love your neighbor as yourself,” bring order to your life, guard you, sustain you, promote you, and preserve you. In these, you will find success, not compared with others, but in the fulfillment of your purpose.
